"Jock"

This snapback has to be one of my faves! I love snapbacks in general, but this particular one has my last name on it. Win! Obviously every person I see when I step out with this on will not know that I'm sporting my last name on my hat but I get the warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing that. Now that I've exposed my secret, you all can share that feeling with me! Feeling warm and fuzzy yet?

Anyways, I put this outfit together based on my snapback, not gonna lie. I don't know what to really call this style but I felt so cool, comfortable, and super chill wearing it. The leggings have pleather on the top, a sheer material above the knees, and then just cotton from there on down. They don't sound like they are but they are in fact, very comfortable. The tank is just a plain black racerback tank that hangs loosely and is cut to fit the female body so well. I love it! I'm just wearing a black bandeau with white polkadots under to avoid the awkward bra straps playing peekaboo on my shoulders, and I have on my converse sneakers. Simple yet it looks good. I seriously don't think this outfit would look as put together if my leggings and top were any other color. I may be wrong. You could think about that..

Hey May Gray, Go Away!

Today was just a little bit gray. I know the whole May gray thing going on but April was gray so I feel May should be a little nicer and just skip the whole act. In some of these pictures, you may be able to tell the little drops of water on my top as it was sprinkling when I went out to take them. It was also cold. And as you can also see, I was not prepared for rain, or wind, or cold. BUT it was fun! It reminded of me of being a kid and playing in the rain during my walk home from school. Those were the good ol' days. But enough reminiscing..

This outfit was meant for a spring day with the sun up in the sky, a light breeze in the air, and birds chirping away in the trees. yeah..that's not what I got today. I got clouds, clouds, wind, rain, more clouds, and more rain. Okay, now my weather rant is over.

I'm styling some nice white pants that stop just around the ankle area. I wasn't too sure about how the cut would look on me but after seeing it in pictures, I like it. The top is actually quite long and so I tucked it into my pants on the front and kind of let it just drape. It's a little see through so I wore a white tank underneath. I seriously love this color and it's a new one in my closet. I think it's so perfect for spring!

My ideal spring outfit would look something like this. Bright, clean, and calming. Am I the only one that gets a calming effect from these two colors together?  Let me know! (How you feel, how you feel, how you feel)<----that's drake right there. hehe. Well peeps, until tomorrow, Cheers! xx

Polka Dot Spring

-First official day of my summer break and I'm blogging. YES!

-It's going to be a "long hot summer.. we should be together with your feet up on the dashboard now"

-I know it's not quite summer yet so I'll just put that on pause for now.

1. I love these shorts, they look like pajama bottoms, I know, and I've been told, but I promise the are not.  they're cute is what the are.

2. I love this tank, it's light, breathable, and is cut sooo perfectly

Short Shorts

   This here is just a cute pair of black shorts and a tank, but since I then went out to run some things, I threw on my favorite blazer. I'm wearing simple black sandals today but this outfit can also be paired with some cute booties or even flats, maybe add some arm candy and it would look super chic. Spring is back and I'm so happy to have warm weather again and wear lighter clothing, thank you Jesus! On that note, Happy Good Friday to you! xx

Stripes and All

This top is actually a dress, yes ma'am..i love wearing it as a dress with a belt around the waist but it's been a little too cold for that lately. I  absolutely love the thick stripes on it, they make me feel just a little nautical.  I paired this with simple black pants and nude-ish flats. I also have on some thick braided rope bracelets which i love to wear whenever I can. I am so in love with stripes and so happy that spring is nearing so i can wear  striped dress, striped skirts, striped flats, striped everything.. you think I'm a little obsessed, haha.. just maybe.
